ndd Easy on-PC Spirometer Hospital package (Spirette only)

ndd Easy on-PC Spirometer Hospital package (Spirette only)

EasyOn-PC is a lightweight spirometer that connects directly into a PC or laptop for real-time spirometry diagnostics. The Easy on-PC comes complete with diagnostic spirometry software. The handheld sensor utilises the ndd TrueFlow technology to measure the flow of air in and out of the patients’ lungs. Guaranteed for life, this technology eliminates problems associated with traditional methods of flow measurement and helps make the ndd products extraordinarily fast, reliable, accurate and error free. There are no moving parts, no codes to enter and no screens to catch sputum. The ultrasonic flow measurement is independent of gas composition, pressure, temperature, and humidity thus eliminating errors due to these variables. The software is free of any licencing with any updates provided free of charge for life. This means the device can be used across multiple PC’s with the software installed. The software can be fully integrated into patient record systems such as EMIS and SystmOne*. Spirometry software and future updates are free The EasyOn-PC software can be updated free of charge for life; this can be downloaded from the ndd website. The software can be installed on as many computers as necessary without the need for user licences or dongles. The database can also be stored onto a shared network drive which can be accessed by any computer installed with EasyOn-PC software, allowing results to be viewed in a different location. PC tablet option available The EasyOn-PC is available as a package with optional Windows touch screen tablet PC, pre-installed with EasyOn-PC software. Using the lightweight tablet and EasyOn-PC together makes this the perfect portable spirometry solution. The results can be printed or exported to PDF and other formats. Latest GLI 2012 predicted values The GLI equations are the first global multi-ethnic reference equations for spirometry that span all-ages. Data from 74,187 healthy non-smokers (57.1% females) aged 3-95 years were used to derive the equations using modern statistical methods. This includes the development of age dependent lower limits of normal. Challenge test routine with Methacoline and Mannitol protocols Challenge testing protocols are pre-set in the software for Methacoline including Chai et al, ATS Short and ATS Long. Mannitol protocol is also included. The dosage to be administered is displayed in a table on screen and a timer will countdown to show when spirometry needs to be performed. The software displays the % drop from the previous step and also from the baseline. A message is displayed when a positive result has been achieved and the test is complete. Powerful trend facility Single or multiple parameters can be shown as actual values and percent predicted. This allows the user to track a patient’s lung function over time. Incentive screens The software has three child incentives, the balloon, the monkey and the birthday cake to encourage children to perform correctly. The incentives can be displayed in a large format on screen whilst still being able to view the flow/volume and volume/time graphs in real-time.

MIR - Smart One Digital Peak Flow Meter, with oxi

MIR - Smart One Digital Peak Flow Meter, with oxi

Product Properties The Smart One® is a low-cost, home spirometer offering a basic level of screening that utilises bluetooth technology to connect directly to a smart phone. Using the Smart One® app, users can record Peak Flow and FEV1 measurements in the comfort of their own home with the ability to send results electronically to their healthcare advisor. It is designed to be used as a self-monitoring tool for those with a respiratory condition and as a wellness product for the health conscious. Basic screening with real spirometry technology Although the Smart One® only measures Peak flow and FEV1, it uses exactly same technology as a diagnostic spirometer. As a result, the Smart One offers a higher level of performance and accuracy than conventional peak flow meters. Thanks to the simplicity of the Smart One® app, the user is able to easily choose between which test they would like to perform, customise settings, track results as well as the ability to send test data electronically to their healthcare specialist. The intuitive smart one app is kept simple but smart. Inputting the user’s age, origin, weight, height and sex in the settings menu allows the app to calculate a target value and set pre-determined ranges for the traffic light health indicator. When a user conducts a peak flow test, the target value is displayed as an incentive. After the test is complete, the user is able to apply notes about their symptoms either from a pre-defined list or typed in manually. Test results are stored on the app with the ability to track and trend over set periods.

Even for the most basic user; the entire process from entering patient data, performing a test, through to obtaining results is seamless with large on-screen icons and easy to follow workflow. • Each individual screen is self-explanatory. • Option to perform expiratory only spirometry which is mainly performed in primary care rather than having to doing inspiratory testing too. • Printout designed for UK users with indices set out in a logical order. • Large, high-resolution screen. • High speed printer. • Fast, reactive touch screen. Fast refresh rate. ‘ipad’ feel to the touch screen. • It is unique in that it can use reusable or pre-calibrated disposable turbines. • Includes x1 free of charge reusable turbine An easy to follow workflow that makes conducting Spirometry simple. 1. Home screen Select a patient, perform a test or view results direct from the home screen. 2.Select a patient Create a new patient record or select a patient from the database. 3.Select a test Select between a relaxed VC, forced VC or a post test. 4.Performing a test with on-screen incentives Target markers are placed along both axis of a graph when a patient performs a test. These are visual indicators to show the current best blow during a test allowing the user to motivate the patient further in giving their best respiratory effort. The child incentive can also be easily switched on or off during a live test. 5.Achieve optimum spirometry with quality warnings Fully compliant to latest ATS/ERS standards, the Spirolab can cleverly display advisory messages. When tests do not meet the criteria set out in the guidelines, the Spirolab prompts the user as to what is required in order to achieve optimum spirometry. 6.Results with interpretation View both flow/volume and volume/time curves as well as configurable results, including LLN and z-score. Flow volume and volume time graphs (FVC mode) can be viewed side by side during a live test. The Spirolab comes with a re-usable turbine for use with standard adult one-way valve mouthpieces. The turbine is also available as a single use disposable that has been individually factory calibrated with mouthpiece pre-connected and individually packaged.
