The equipment is designed to improve the Quality of Service QoS of critical communication networks while operating under the performance criteria required by EN54-13 and BS5839 part 1.DNP-R-2FFC-K is designed to support dual fibre connectivity Fibre in Fibre out using the range of INS Small Form-factor Pluggable fibre optic transceivers. INS transceivers are available to support single-mode multimode and Bi-Directional fibre optic cables with distances of up to 160km.DNP-R-2FFC-K is also designed to support fibre optic to RS485 copper wiring which allows sections of an RS485 network to be converted to fibre optic cables either for enhanced transmission distances or to overcome problems with EMI Electro-Magnetic Interference.Configuring the module for fibre or RS485 fibre configurations is done through a single switch option.
