Kidde Airsense 25-32mm Intumescent Fire Collar 9-10975

Kidde Airsense 25-32mm Intumescent Fire Collar 9-10975

Kidde Airsense 25-32mm Intumescent Fire Collar 9-10975The pipe collar is manufactured from a high-performance material bonded to the inside of a steel sleeve which on exposure to heat from a fire will rapidly expand inwards to squeeze the collapsing plastic pipe until the aperture is completely sealed. This creates compartmentalization which prevents the fire spreading from one fire compartment to the next. Pipe collars are tested in accordance with the performance requirements of BS476 Part 20 1987.Intumescent fire collars are designed to maintain the fire resistance of compartment walls and floors where they are penetrated by ABS sampling pipes. They consist of a powder coated split hinged cylindrical steel which can be opened and fitted around the pipe. The steel shell contains a heat reactive graphite based intumescent material. Each collar is fastened by means of a toggle clasp and has integral lugs at one end for ease of installation. For horizontal installations the collar may be surface mounted or recessed but should be located on one or both sides according to direction of risk.Key FeaturesSurface mount flush or semi-flush mountPrevent the spread of fire smoke and hot gases through a building by containing it in the compartment of originMaintain the integrity of escape routes from a buildingReduce loss or damage to property from the effect of fire and smokeMaintain pressure differential between compartments and ventilation channels

Kidde KE-IU3110 Intelligent Addressable 1-Input Unit with Isolator

Kidde KE-IU3110 Intelligent Addressable 1-Input Unit with Isolator

Kidde KE-IU3110 Intelligent Addressable 1-Input Unit with IsolatorThe innovative Excellence series of intelligent addressable devices offers advanced for reliability and peace of mind. Coupled with for ease of installation and maintenance on new fire detection systems its a perfect match for exceptional overall performance. The Excellence series inputoutput devices are designed to provide much needed flexibility to input monitoring and output switching. These modules combined with the powerful of a Kidde Excellence series addressable CIE give customers versatility for diverse applications. The KE-IU3110 is a Kidde Excellence series addressable single input unit with integrated short circuit loop isolation. Powered directly from the Excellence loop it offers an input with selectable line supervision. The KE-IU3110 is designed to monitor any potential free contacts. Any normally open or normally closed contact may be selected to be supervised or unsupervised. Normal open passive active or short circuit states on the input are reported back to the CIE where depending on the programming separate actions may be taken for any of these states. The KE-IU3110 may be located anywhere on the Kidde Excellence loop where it occupies only 1 of 128 available addresses. Housed in a low profile molding the interface is designed to clip directly onto a standard DIN rail fixing or be installed in a suitable wall mount housing. It is intended for installation inside the equipment to be switched thereby offering savings in installation costs compared with long auxiliary circuit wiring runs from the control panel. The KE-IU3110 is connected to the CIE via a 2-wire communication loop that carries both power and control data. Tri-Colour LED indicators positioned on the front face of the unit provide the engineer with clear identification of the operational state of the unit as well as the status of any input andor output control. Additional manual test facilities on the unit allows local testing without the need for control panel intervention saving time during installation and commissioning.Excellence series devices use an advanced digital data communications protocol with extensive error correction algorithms to ensure system reliability.Key FeaturesLoop powered saving external supply and installation costProvides an addressable input for 3rd party equipment supervisionFully supervised bi-level input for pre-alarm and alarm supervision using a single inputDIN or wall mounted for installation flexibilityLocal test for ease of validationLocal clear operation status indication for ease of maintenance
