Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes takes place one year after the events of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Paz and Chico are held in a heavily guarded Omega camp. They both have information about Snake and his military organization. Snake and Kaz Miller must infiltrate enemy territory and rescue the hostages. As in the previous installments of the series, the game belongs to the genre of stealth-action games, in which dynamic action sequences are combined with the necessity to act in hiding. This time, however, the creators tried to create an open world structure, giving players a lot of freedom in performing tasks and exploring locations. The changes introduced in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes included not only the gameplay mechanics, but also the user interface.
Unlike previous games in the series, only the most necessary information is displayed on the screen, which helps to improve the visibility of the environment in which the characters move.
