Rugby 20 is a sports game dedicated to the title discipline, which is not very popular in our country. The production is a realistic representation of modern rugby - it is an extensive simulator, with licenses, thanks to which we can play with national teams and clubs from the world's most important leagues.
Gameplay
In Rugby 20 we take part in matches of the title sport. During the game, we switch between different players of the selected team - most often we observe them from above, although the camera changes its position depending on what is happening on the pitch. Each athlete is described by a number of statistics (including limited endurance, which determines how long he can withstand strenuous play).
The main goal of the game is to place the ball in a goal resembling the letter H - we can do it by throwing or by touchdown (delivering the ball to the place and touching the ground with it). We can move freely with our players (athletes who are not under our control at the moment are supervised by the AI algorithm and try to help us by taking the right position and disturbing opponents) and take part in both complex attack plans and defensive maneuvers (rugby is a contact a sport discipline - we can, for example, knock over players of the opposite team). It is also necessary to master the passing and cooperation between players. Compared to the previous part, the developers significantly deepened the tactical layer of the game. During the game, we have the opportunity to make a number of decisions that affect the actions of our team and the course of the match - we can manage ball restarts, indicate specific plays, search for free spaces and change the plan for a given match, surprising our rivals with new ideas.
