Norton Clipper CM501 Major 18-20in - 110v
The Clipper CM501 masonry saw has been the original site workhorse since 1937. Not only does it lead its class, it is universally recognised as the industry benchmark for masonry and stone cutting saws, dominating building sites, educational institutions and industrial facilities alike around the world. When people think of brick saw, they invariably not only automatically think Clipper, they think the Clipper CM501 Major.
This high-performance masonry and brick cutting saw is ideally suited for cutting a wide range of smaller and medium sized masonry materials, it is also perfect for cutting concrete products, building blocks, natural stones, roof tiles and refractories.
It features both winding handle and foot pedal depth cutting control, which provides the operator with the flexibility of either fixed or step cutting materials, together with a stay level blade guard which provides excellent versatility of the work piece, whatever the elevation of the cutting head for improved operator safety. It is also conveniently equipped with a recirculating electric water pump, or can be alternatively direct to a mains water supply, providing users with the option of wet or dry cutting capability as required.
The CM501-E is available with a choice of 110V, 230V or 415V electric motors. They are ideal for site and indoor use, as well as use in more noise-sensitive and poorly ventilated areas too. It is also available with a Honda petrol engine , which makes it more fully self-contained and therefore ideally suited for use on virgin sites and in remote locations with no access to a suitable electrical power supply, as well as other well-ventilated areas.
The 110V CM501 is most commonly used for construction site use, whilst the 230V and 415V models more commonly used for fixed industrial applications The 415V CM501 is most commonly used for more continuous use in industrial applications.
