In general due to high levels of reverberation and noise a tunnel is not an ideal environment for Voice Evacuation System and therefore speech intelligibility becomes a critical parameter for any voice alarm application. To establish a sufficient level of speech intelligibility a highly directional speakers system is required. By reducing the energy emitted to other surfaces reflective sound energy can be minimized which results in a better direct to reverberant ratio. This will improve the maximum feasible speech intelligibility. To minimize disturbing echo effects resulting in a loss of speech intelligibility each horn speaker is driven by an individual signal channel in a 100 V installation which is equipped with audio DSP including EQ and delay. Notifier Honeywell DCSF12 Firemans Emergency Microphone 12 Buttons 583503.REIn many installation codes it is necessary to have redundancy in critical signal routes like speaker cables Loop or AB cabling between fire panel and the PAVA system. In some installation codes this includes also the connection to the fire men paging microphone.For very good reason because if the connection to the call station is lost there is no way for any live announcement to people which are potential or actually in high danger. Our paging station also supports redundant cable connection to two separate Comprio not standalone Version of Comprio or DOMs which means its possible to connect two cables CAT5 to one paging station. The digital paging microphone DCSF12 serves for the selection of loudspeaker circuits and for setting off speech announcements as well as various gong or alarm sounds.It features 12 freely configurable keys 13 LED and a handheld microphone. The paging microphone is connected with our DAL Digital Audio Link bus to a Comprio or DOM by means of a standard CAT5 cable. All audio signals and all control signals are transmitted digitally. The function of the digital paging microphone is permanently acoustically monitored. Up to four DAL bus links can be connected to a DOM.Every digital call station in the system can simultaneously generate and receive different voice transmissions and control signals. A digital paging microphone can be offset up to 300 m by means of a CAT5 cable. Extension to a greater distance is possible with fiber optic FO cables - see respective FO converters which are needed additionally. Also a connection with FO cables can be done redundant.
