Design: Santa & Cole Concept: The wood that the lamp is made of is known to be white, smooth and without knots. The softwood should be felled before the fall to maintain its whiteness and flexibility. The pioneering designer Ferrán Freixa chose this wood for the Nagoya lamp, a masterpiece in industrial design, which became the first winner of the Golden Delta ADI-FAD award for the best industrial design produced in Spain back in 1961. Design: Santa & Cole Concept: In 1955, when Alvar Aalto was the dominant figure in Helsinki's cultural life, Ilmari Tapiovaara introduced himself as the first Finnish designer who was not an architect. He was an expert in chairs and furniture and created his only and unique household lamp: Maija. The Maija collection gives a sense of light in the Baltic cities, where the streets are barely lit, apart from the light that shines in through the windows of homes and shops: inside and out. Tapiovaara is inspired by this and has created a gingerbread structure consisting of stacked metal slices that filter out the happy inner light.

Santa & Cole Zeleste Table Lamp White

Design: Santa & Cole Concept: Zeleste is made of solid white alabaster and is reminiscent of Barcelona's nightlife with a history that takes us back to the early seventies. Àngel Jové and Santiago Roqueta created the lamp Zeleste, named after the bar where it was designed for. When crossing the velvet curtain in the bar, there is one element that unites the space: the Zeleste lamp as a promoter of intimacy in front of an amalgam of furniture without an owner. In 1987, Santa & Cole took over designer Santiago Roqueta's design house Snark and their collection and launched a new series of the same name: the Snark collection.
