Little Orpheus is a technicolor side-scrolling adventure game that takes place during the year 1962 when NASA was attempting to put a man on the moon. However, a Soviet cosmonaut named Comrade Ivan Ivanovich is instead sent in the opposite direction, into an extinct volcano in Siberia, to explore the center of the earth. Three years later, Ivan reappears, claiming to have saved the world but having lost the atomic bomb powering his exploration capsule, the Little Orpheus. He is taken to a top-secret bunker deep below the Ural mountains to be debriefed by the fearsome General Yurkovoi.In Little Orpheus, players join Ivan on his adventure as he explores lost civilizations, undersea kingdoms, prehistoric jungles, and lands beyond imagination. The game features platforming and light puzzle-solving that is simple enough for casual players but rich enough for seasoned adventure fans.
