The Settlers History Collection is a compilation of seven installments of The Settlers series, i.e. best-selling strategy games, the first of which debuted in 1993, and the last - seventeen years later. The item was developed by Blue Byte studio and was released by Ubisoft, the company that oversees the brand. The set includes the following titles: The Settlers, The Settlers II, The Settlers III, The Settlers IV, The Settlers V: Heritage of Kings, The Settlers: Rise of an Empire, and The Settlers 7: Path to a Kingdom; additionally, each of them has been enriched with all extensions. In the games that make up The Settlers History Collection, players take control of the title settlers. Although over the course of subsequent parts of the series, the creators introduced numerous (sometimes far-reaching) changes, in each of them our main task is to build a thriving village from scratch and discover new areas and their conquest. Each of the games included in The Settlers History Collection has a single player mode. In addition, parts from the third and above allow multiplayer fun over the Internet, and in the case of The Settlers II - also on a split screen.
