Story
Liberated takes us to a dystopian reality in which, under the pretext of wanting to ensure security, the government subjects citizens to mass surveillance. Based on data from social networking sites, ubiquitous cameras or even bank transfers, a virtual profile of each person is created. Police and the government even resort to human rights violations in an attempt to restore order. War against this regime is declared by a group of daredevils - the titular Liberated - who, however, also have their conscience; just as those they fight against use violence to achieve their goals.
Gameplay
While traveling through the levels , we often have to avoid direct confrontation with opponents ; for this purpose, one should observe their patrol routes and sneak behind their backs. On the other hand , the game has many moments when we have to take up arms and fight. The fun is diversified by spectacular scenes presented in the form of so-called Quick Time Events , an occasional and simple system of dialogues and hacking mini-games. Liberated has 2.5D noir graphics; the latter is created not only by monochrome colors, but also by an atmospheric soundtrack.
