These grooves have tighter tolerances and greater volume, leading to increased spin on the ball. The technology also enhances groove depth by 11% and sharpens groove edges by 40% to achieve maximum spin. Furthermore, COBRA's progressive spin technology customizes groove length and depth for each wedge loft. The 48-54-degree lofts have traditional groove length and narrower, deeper grooves for consistent spin and trajectories on lower lofted wedges. The 56-60-degree lofts have full-face groove length and wider, shallower grooves to maximize spin on open-face shots that connect with the high toe area. The SNAKEBITE X Wedge also has a versatile notch design in its 58- and 60-degree wedges. The notch is positioned towards the heel to improve clubhead delivery on any turf or sand conditions.
