It offers two configurable Monitored Input Circuits two configurable Monitored Output Circuits two configurable Relays and one Fault Relay. With the Peripheral Bus Circuit you can connect up to 8 Repeater Panels for extended coverage.The system allows for flexible configuration with 3 alarm stages and comprehensive Zone to Zone Cause and Effect programming across all 32 panel zones. It includes Alarm Confirmation and Delay Timers along with 32 additional output zones for more complex programming needs.Compatible with Fikes addressable devices the CIE-A-400 utilises soft addressing principles eliminating the need for manual device addressing and preventing duplicate addressing issues. Operating parameters can be easily configured from the panel or OSP programming software and stored in device flash memory. Lexicomm ViLX-OSC Surface Combined Type A Telephone and Type B Refuge PointThe ViLX-OSC is a combined Type A and Type B EVCS outstation compatible with the Lexicomm standalone and network systems.The outstation is supplied in a brushed stainless finish with a Type B refuge panel on the front with a high contrast red screen print with a rugged red telephone handset behind the push door.A stainless steel bezel is available to allow the outstation to be flushed into a wall reducing the need to stock flush and surface variants.Combined Outstations are designed to be used where the disabled refuge area is within the fire fighting lift lobby of a building.The outstation is supplied in a brushed stainless finish with a Type B refuge panel on the front with a high contrast red screen print with a fighting telephone accessed by pushing the door picking up the telephone disables the refuge call point.SuitabilityThe ViLX-OSC is a combined Type A and Type B outstation as defined in BS5839-92011 and can be used as a fire telephone or a disabled refuge call point. The Lexicomm outstations are designed for use by multi-disability users having high contrast signage in line with RNIB guidelines and an induction loop coil to BSEN60118-4 in the handset. ViLX-OSC outstations are mainly used when the disabled refuge area is located within the firefighting lift lobby as described in BS9999 and Building Regulations Approved Document B these locations should have a low background noise otherwise you may have to consider acoustic hoods.Mounting the OutstationThe outstation should be mounted at a height of 1250mm from to the centre line of the outstation to the floor to comply with the requirements of Building Regulations Document M Access for the Disabled.
