Nuaire MRXBOXAB Hybrid Cooling Kit

Nuaire MRXBOXAB Hybrid Cooling Kit

Nuaire MRXBOXAB-HYBRID COOLING KIT   Description Nuaire’s MRXBOX Hybrid Cooling System combines year-round high levels of indoor air quality with the added benefit of summer cooling to mitigate overheating. This added cooling significantly lowers the temperature of fresh air supplied into the dwelling, helping maintain comfortable internal temperature levels even in city centre apartments on the hottest days of summer. The MRXBOX Hybrid Cooling System consists of the MRXBOXAB-ECO5B-AE acoustic unit and the MR-ECO-COOL-V Cooling module and ECO5-AE-1Z-STND Floor stand The Nuaire MRXBOXAB-ECO5B provides a maximum flow rate of 450m3/hr and is recommend running at a min flow rate of 1 ACH when cooling is required Controllability to the comfort cooler is via a room thermostatic control and the MVHR unit is provided by an internal humidity sensors and optional room sensors or switches (no digital controller is available for this model) BPC Ventilation are the largest independent MVHR specialists and supply this unit with up to a 5-year parts warranty* and lifetime technical support on our top-quality systems Integral Humidity Sensor The Nuaire unit has a internal humidity sensors that can provide a superior demand-controlled ventilation solution for your property When the unit senses that the humidity exceeds the set point the unit will boost to that set by the commissioned boost speed. The humidity can be set on the front of the unit We also advise an optional boost switch should be used local to the wet rooms Filtration 2 x G3 filters are fitted to the unit that are easy and inexpensive to replace (The filters are provided with plastic covers that should be removed before starting unit for first time)   CONTROL OPTIONS The Cooling unit is controlled via a wall-mounted thermostatic control (CM-THERM-CONTROL) that senses indoor temperature and activates the cooling module when necessary. The thermostat is pre-set at 23°C but can be adjusted. If the property reaches this temperature, the cooling module will automatically activate to lower the temperature of the fresh air entering your home. The MVHR will also raise to a higher speed to increase fresh air supply and stale air extraction at the same time. Once the temperature in your home drops below this temperature, the cooling module will automatically turn off and the MVHR will return to its original speed. The Nuaire MRXBOX MVHR units are controlled by one of the following: 4 x adjustable switches on the front of the unit Manual control Via optional 3 speed manual switch On-demand ventilation through built-in humidity sensors Additional external sensors achieving on-demand ventilation Switched live signal from light/remote switches Heat Exchanger This unit has a high-quality PVC counterflow heat exchanger with up to a 90% thermal efficiency protected with high-capacity filters on each side The heat exchanger is easy to remove for maintenance and any accumulated condensation is easily dispersed via a drain at the bottom of the unit Frost Protection In the event of the intake air temperature at the unit dropping below the predetermined set point (-5°C as standard) the supply fan will reduce to minimum speed, once the temperature rises above the set point the fan will return to its commissioned speed. Frost protection will only activate after ten days of continuous run time. Summer By-Pass The Nuaire AB units have a 100% summer by-Pass If the indoor temperature Intake exceeds 25°C and the outdoor temperature is within comfort zones the summer by-pass is opened automatically to help provide a comfortable indoor temperature Orientation The Nuaire units can be right or left-handed and correct orientation should be checked before purchase Construction Manufactured of powder coated galvanised steel outer cover for durability and an inside EPP lining for quietness and efficiency Ducting All MVHR units using a comfort cooler require all ductwork insulated and capable of achieving a minimum of 1 ACH (air changes per hour) to all areas
