Peony Itoh 'Cora Louise' - 5.5 Litre Pot
Itoh Peonies, also known as Intersectional Peonies, are a stunning hybrid created by crossing tree peonies with herbaceous peonies. These unique plants offer the best of both worlds, combining the beautiful flowers and foliage of the tree peony with the growth habits of the herbaceous variety. Itoh Peonies produce larger flowers and more blooms on strong, short stems that don’t need staking. They typically bloom a bit later than herbaceous peonies, extending the peony season by 3-4 weeks for even more floral enjoyment. Perfect for your garden, these peonies bring both beauty and ease! Peonies are easy to grow and will tolerate pretty much any soil type, in a sunny or part shaded location. You may wish to stake the lager flowers, due to size, to avoid drooping. Remove dead flowers spikes and cut down dead foliage to ground level in Autumn. Top dress with a general fertiliser or a handful of bonemeal. Feed again in March as the growth starts. Water regularly until established.
