As part of financing the production, the authors launched a fundraising campaign on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. Story As the main gameplay mode in Gold Rush: The Game is the sandbox Free Mode, the game does not have an overarching storyline, and the player can freely manage his career as a gold miner . However, the four locations prepared by the developers contain unique, Alaska-inspired stories that the player can discover while exploring . Gameplay The essence of the gameplay in Gold Rush: The Game is the exploitation of gold-bearing plots in order to accumulate supplies of precious metal. We carry out this task ourselves : we carry the necessary equipment on the truck, steer the heavy machines from their cabins, and rinse the golden nuggets by carefully moving the cleaned material in a bowl of water . The collected gold can be taken to the city, where the blacksmith will melt it into bars. The default way of observing the environment is the immersive first - person mode , which allows us to precisely operate numerous devices (connecting cables, pressing switches, replacing fuel filters, etc.).
