Nutrix: Wireless Alert with Bed Mat
This Nutrix Wireless Alert with Bed Mat has been created to enable a relative or professional nurse to maintain their everyday commitments whilst still providing high quality care to a patient or loved one. The system has been carefully designed to be unobtrusive and will raise the alarm when a patient/resident either puts pressure on the mat or pressure is released from the mat. The discreet, portable pager offers both audio and vibration alarm to ensure an alert is never missed, while the system tracks the wireless link and battery levels to provide guaranteed monitoring, the pager has a 30m wireless range. When in pressure-off mode the mat should be placed directly below the patient (on a chair or placed across the bed), and for pressure-on mode should be placed immediately in front of the patient as this will alert the nurse/carer when the patient stands on or walks across the mat.
