Johnsons Runner Bean Achievement Seeds produces a high quality and heavy yielding, red flowered variety, that is popular among gardeners for exhibition as well as for eating. They produce large crops of long, smooth and straight pods with very good flavour. High in vitamin C, vitamin K and dietary fibre, these beans make an excellent addition to stir-fries, risottos or as a simple side dish. Ideal for blanching and freezing as a long-term storage solution. Try growing runner beans with sweet peas to entice pollinating insects to the flowers, and Nasturtiums to draw aphids away from your crop. Easy to grow and versatile, peas and beans make a delicious and nutritious addition to any meal.
