Light, colourful and a beautiful drape! Viscose is a popular fabric for many fashion designs. It's a light and soft material with good breathability, while also being comfortable to wear.  The beautiful drape is especially pronounced in tops, dresses, and shirts, where even with the simplest designs, you achieve a stylish look. The design is up to you: Does the shirt need a small collar? The top a boat neck? Or are you into ruched details?  That being said, viscose is also well-suited for light trousers. We prefer them with a bit of width in the legs, so you once again benefit from the lovely drape.  Choose from many stunning colours.  What is viscose? Viscose has been used for clothing for over 100 years. The fabric consists of processed and regenerated cellulose, for example from wood pulp or cotton waste. It resembles natural fibres like cotton and silk.  Some practicalities The fabric is 100% viscose, is 130 cm wide, and you can of course choose the length you need. Wash at 40°C, iron at medium heat, and allow to air dry. Expect 5% shrinkage after washing.  Remember to use the right needles – we recommend using a universal needle or a microtex needle in size 70.

It can be washed at 40°, always hang dry and iron at low heat. TIP: Satin weaves are not very forgiving when it comes to needle marks. A good way to avoid damage is to start with a fresh needle, as a damaged needle is more likely to stick to the fabric and leave marks. Also, use extra fine pins in the seam allowance to minimise holes.
