Upholstery velvet leopard print

Upholstery velvet leopard print

Lush leopard printed upholstery velvet with a soft and mat feel without backingYou can spruce up your home in no time using our soft leopard printed 100% polyester upholstery velvet and create a air of pure luxury. Gorgeous upholstery velvet for pillows, curtains, cushions etc.The upholstery velvet has a plush, mat look and a soft feel without backing. The fabric does not have a backing which means it does not have a stabilizing backside. This is the reason it has the same colour on both the front and back and it also means it has a wonderful drape. Especially suitable for curtains. The soft feel of the velvet also makes it work wonders when made into pillows, cushions and poufs. An upholstery fabric without backing is easier to work with and to shape. This makes it ideal for smaller projects like lamp shades, Christmas décor, mesh bags and clutches. Mix and match to your heart’s desireUnleash your imagination and creativity and mix and match this velvet with other fabrics – adding a playful and informal to your furniture, curtains and pillows. Another option could be to mix and match velvet with and without backing to add contrast to your creative projects. There’s no end to the possibilities! The Martindale rub count of this fabric is 30.000. What is Martindale?Martindale is a term used to tell you something about the durability and robustness of a fabric. The higher the Martindale rub count is, the more durable the fabric is. If you need the fabric to upholster furniture, we recommend that you pick a material with a minimum Martindale rub count of 20.000. This fabric has been awarded with a STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification. What is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®?OEKO-TEX® is the world-leading label for textiles tested for harmful substances. Once the fabric has achieved a STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification, it is your guarantee it has been tested and approved not to contain any harmful chemicals. Meaning it is neither harmful to you and your health and less harmful to the environment.

Bias Binding in Lovely Patterns  Who says bias binding must be single-coloured and matching? Not us! Bias binding should, of course, match precisely your project and your DIY dreams. The binding always gives a beautiful finish – regardless of which you choose.     Stand Out  But these bindings are made to stand out. They are patterned and colourful in a matte quality, adding personality and charm to your project. Some of them are perfect for baby and children's wear – perhaps as the edge on a patch pocket? Or as the finest detail on a tea towel or a jacket. The possibilities are almost endless, so find your favourites and get designing!    The bias binding is 20 mm wide, made from 100% cotton, and comes in a pack of 3 meters.     Use Bias Binding for…   Sew bias binding on blankets and bath towels. Use it on dresses, shirts, and blouses – and for baby clothes and bodysuits. Let the bias binding act as fine details and beautiful finishes on edges and cut-outs.     Worth Knowing About Bias Binding  Bias binding has the (almost) magical ability to adapt to many fabrics. It is, as the name implies, cut on the bias and thus naturally follows your curves, necklines, corners, and edges. This results in a beautiful finish.     How to Sew on Bias Binding  Bias binding is for sewing on curves, corners, and straight stretches. When sewing the bias binding onto your project, sew with straight stitches approximately 2.5 cm in stitch length. While sewing, avoid pulling or stretching it. Let it align naturally along the edge for a neat finish.     TIP  When you start sewing your bias binding, fold approximately 2 cm inwards so it's double-layered. When you finish, tuck the other end's fold over your folded start. The same principle applies when extending a bias binding.
