Thanks so much for bringing the range to my attention." Laura Hill, Public Affairs Executive - Runner/Mother "I was having lower back issues so I thought I would give these a go. I was very happy with the support they gave my back and pleasantly surprised with the instant relief they gave my legs! I found myself standing in the kitchen doing my usual meal prep without the tired legs I usually get after standing in the one spot for a while. Fran - athlete Thank you for a wonderful product. My brother bought this for my birthday and it has helped me so much with my training. I was in constant pain but now can training 3 times a week with out any bad aftereffects. Fabulous new sports knee support Offers sideways support in the case of instability of the knee joint Adjustable compression around the joint for individual requirements Non-axial leaf spring hinges A U-shaped pressure pad contributes to the stabilisation of the kneecap Optimum position retention Low profile The Push Sport Hinged Knee Brace supports the collateral knee ligaments with two non-axial springs on each side of the knee acting as splints. These springs not only support the ligaments, but also prevent side movement of the knee joint. The U-shaped pressure pad is positioned around the knee cap to protect and help limit movement of the patella (kneecap) whilst maintaining comfort. This brace is comfortable to wear and is easy to put on. When to use - General knee instability Residual instability following a collateral ligament injury Arthrosis with mild instability Meniscus injury Patellofemoral pain syndrome How to fit - Open the two hook and loop fasteners. Pull the brace over the knee until the pad is positioned snugly underneath the kneecap. For the proper degree of support, it is important that the pad fits closely around the kneecap. Close the lower hook and loop fastener to provide a comfortable degree of compression below the knee. Close the upper hook and loop fastener to provide a comfortable degree of compression around the upper leg. It is important that the pad presses snugly against the kneecap. SAM Pelvic Sling II - Small

SAM Pelvic Sling II - Small

SAM Pelvic Sling II for stabilizing pelvic or suspected fractures The SAM Pelvic Sling II is the first and only force-controlled circumferential pelvic belt scientifically proven in peer-reviewed studies to safely and effectively reduce and stabilize open-book pelvic ring fractures. The SAM Pelvic Sling II was designed not to over-tighten or under-tighten, unlike other commercial binders which allow unlimited force to be applied to the patient. The SAM Pelvic Sling II's patented Autostop buckle is programed to stop your pull once the correct compression force has been obtained. This is vital in high stress environments where over-tightening by emergency medical personnel under duress could potentially be extreme and harmful. Trauma surgeons around the world recognize the importance of stabilizing pelvic fractures during the critical first "golden hour" following severe trauma. Because of the potentially devastating hemorrhage associated with such fractures, standard first aid protocol includes applying some type of circumferential binder around the victim's hips. The SAM Pelvic Sling II offers a simpler one-piece design with no detachable hardware. It is compact, easy to use (only three steps), and quick to apply (usually in less than one minute). The sling is durable and unaffected by extremes of moisture and temperature or by exposure to hard or sharp objects. It is also radiolucent, MRI safe, and can be cleaned for re-use with common detergents or anti-microbial solutions. Please note - not recommended for use on children. Sizes available: Small 69-119cm Medium 81-127cm (previousl;y known as standard) Large 91-152cm Features and Benefits of the SAM Pelvic Sling II Scientifically and clinically proven to provide safe and effective force to stabilize pelvic fractures Buckle maintains correct force and cannot be over-tightened Click provides clear feedback to confirm correct application Pulling gradually and symmetrically increases sling tension and reduces the pelvis Low friction posterior slider facilitates transfers Front of Sling is narrow and tapered to facilitate urinary catheterization, interventional radiology, external fixation and abdominal surgery Fabric does not stretch and cleans for reuse with standard detergents or antimicrobial solutions Radiolucent (allowing for X-rays without removal) Ease of application: just insert belt through buckle, pull strap, and secure Velcro on strap and sling for quick and easy fastening Reusable, not a onetime use device Stock Option: Small, Medium, Large
