There is space for 810 sleeved cards in total and FFG sleeves have been used in testing. These trays have no bases and are meant to remain inside the game box and not be removed. This game boards need to be placed in the box in the following sequence. First go six faction boards in a recess at the top of each of the large card trays. The large food and drink tray is built with taller walls to store the larger pieces and new food types. The tray for money bills is re-worked to store tokens and tiles. And the house and marketing tile tray is re-worked without dividers so it can store the bigger coke and beer pieces. Each player colour has it's own token tray, and all the trays can be used during game play. There is space for all cards to be sleeved with quality sleeves. The insert includes two filler trays. When the insert is added to the Big Box variant of the game these are placed at one side to hold the other trays in place when storing the game vertically. When packing the box, simply add the rule books on top of the trays. This fully fills the box and allows for vertical storage of the game. Brickorna i mitten av lådan är ordnade i två lager, med monsterkortet och XP-kubbrickorna på det nedre lagret. Kortfacken har plats för alla kort som kan sleetas med kvalitetshylsor. Om du äger Big Box-varianten av spelet placeras de två uppsättningarna av brickor som visas ovan helt enkelt ovanpå varandra. De återstående brickorna placeras i botten av Big Box, återigen med tärningspåsen i det nedre högra hörnet. Brickorna fungerar lika bra med metallmynten och de linsformade monterkorten, som kan omslutas. Det finns också plats för de sex korten från lockup-paketet. The standard game dice are stored in the dice bag. The insert is arranged in either in two separate layouts in the retail box plus one expansion box, or alternatively all together in the Big Box variant. The trays in the middle of the box are arranged in two layers, with the monster card and XP cube trays on the bottom layer. The card trays have space for all cards to be sleeved with quality sleeves. If you own the Big Box variant of the game, the two sets of trays shown above are simply placed one on top of the other. The remaining trays are placed in the bottom of the Big Box, again with the dice bag in the bottom right corner. The trays work equally well with the metal coins and the lenticular monter cards, which can be sleeved. There is also space for the six cards from the lockup pack. You can add the minotaur and frogkin player boards too, but you will have 1-2 mm of lid lift, which is hardly noticable with this kind of box. The tokens from these additional boards fit fine in the relevant token trays. When packing the box, the last thing to add are the three rule books. These go either in the expansion box (as shown on the left), or on top of all the trays in the Big Box (as shown on the right). Det finns en bricka för arbetarmarker och hex-expansionsbrickor, och även en separat bricka för silvermynt, vita tärningar och Inn hex-brickor. Det finns brickor för byggnader, boskap, kloster, slott, gruvor, skepp och svarta hexpolletter. Den sista brickan har en plats för The Shield-brickor. Det finns en djup bricka för handelsvarubrickorna, som kan användas som en shaker för att blanda dem innan de placeras på brädan. Det finns också en bricka för bonusbrickorna. Kortfacken har platser för varje typ av kort från spelet, och alla kort kan sleeves. Observera att dessa kortfack inte har någon botten. Den tredje brickan är en påfyllningsbricka. There is a tray for the worker chips and expansion hex tiles, and also a separate tray for the silver coins, white die, and the Inn hex tiles. There are trays are for the buildings, livestock, monasteries, castles, mines, ships and black hex tokens. The last tray has a slot for The Shield tiles. There is one deep tray for the trade goods tiles, which can be used as a shaker to mix them prior to being placed on the board. There is also one tray for the bonus tiles. The card trays have slots for each type of card from the game, and all cards can be sleeved. Note that these card trays have no bottom. The third tray is a filler tray. The card trays can be also added when needed to the smaller game box from the card version of the game to organise them while being transported. When used in this way the fact that the cards are stored vertically lifts the lid on this box by 15 mm. The trays together with the boards and rules fully fill the box, the lid closes flush, and then the box can be stored vertically. Once all the trays are in the box, one of the overview boards is placed on top of the two card trays. Then place the rule books on top of everything, followed by the three remaining overview boards. The insert works together with the FS-KDM+ insert to store, in addition to the main game, many of the game's expansions. With the boards and top tray removed you can see underneath the next layer of token trays. Underneath the token trays and board can be seen the card trays. These are split to have different storage capacities for the different kinds of cards. There is room for all cards to be sleeved. The token trays have been made to be single large trays. This means the tokens can be removed quickly and placed on the game board so that you can easily access the card trays underneath. There are slots for all the token types, and additional slots for tokens and tiles from expansions. There are also trays for the larger terrain tiles and the settlement event cards. The cards can be sleeved. Each of the card trays can store sleeved cards, and is made to be removable from the box when needed. The access holes in the tray dividers are off set so that the black card dividers that come with the game can still be used and read while in the tray. The gear card trays can either be used for gear cards or for the standard sized cards. There is a cut in the side of the tray so the cards can be accessed. More on this below. s mentioned above, the insert works equally well with the Deluxe and Retail versions of either game. The images below are of the Deluxe Brass: Birmingham. Here the game component trays are arranged in two layers. The insert provides two trays to hold the iron clay box in place. Note the coin token tray is inverted here as it is not needed. The filler trays for the iron clay box have been designed to imitate factory buildings as per the theme of the games. Each tray for the player pieces has one large slot for the character and link tiles, as well as the wooden VP & income markers. Each type of industry tiles has it's own slot, allowing them to be organised and quickly allocated to the player boards at the start of the game. here are two trays for the location & industry tiles, which also have slots for the iron & coal cubes. There is a separate tray for the money tokens, with a slot for each denomination. There is space for all cards to be sleeved. When clearing the game away and packing the box, the rule book is placed on top of the trays. On top of this place the main game board, followed by the player boards. This fills the box to the top and allows for vertical storage of the game. This same approach is used for the Deluxe and Retail versions. The Brass Lancashire® box is packed in a similar way, but here we place the deck tile adjacent to the player boards.Due to the thicker player boards included in the Deluxe versions of both games, there is a very small amount of lid lift when the box is packed of approximately 3 mm.
