Varje spel innebär en actionfylld kamp där två sidor möter varandra. En av spelarna tar på sig rollen som Skurken och kontrollerar de mest ökända brottslingarna i Gotham City. De återstående spelarna tar kontroll över hjältarna, som måste arbeta tillsammans som ett lag för att omintetgöra skurkens planer. Varje sida turas om och ställer sina strategier mot varandra för att uppnå sina mål. Varje omgång Batman™: Gotham City Chronicles spelas enligt ett scenario som beskriver handlingen, platsen för handlingen, spelets uppsättning, antal vänder, och de specifika mål som varje sida försöker uppnå för att vinna spelet. Spelet involverar två motsatta sidor: hjältarna och skurken. Denna dynamik representeras på framsidan genom att ha två separata rutor för varje sida. Och eftersom det inte räcker med en låda för att få plats med alla bra grejer som kommer med spelet. Men den här separationen har ett annat syfte: det underlättar spelupplägget. Hjältelådan innehåller deras miniatyrer, Hero Bat-tabletter, skärmar, kort...allt hjältarna behöver för att spela ett scenario. Skurklådan innehåller deras miniatyrer, brickor, tärningar och allt som behövs för att förbereda kampen som kommer. Dessa 2 boxar utgör kärnspelet och är nödvändiga för att spela Wayne Manor, Arkham Asylum och Solo/Coop-expansionerna. Inkluderar:

Each game involves an action-packed fight where two sides face off. One of the players assumes the role of the Villain and controls the most notorious criminals of Gotham City. The remaining players take control of the Heroes, who must work together as a team to foil the Villain’s plots. Each side takes turns, pitting their strategies against each other in order to achieve their objectives.Each game of Batman™: Gotham City Chronicles is played according to a scenario which describes the plot, location of the action, setup of the game, number of turns, and the specific objectives each side is trying to achieve in order to win the game.The game involves two opposing sides: the Heroes and the Villain. This dynamic is represented up front by having two seperate boxes for each side. And because one box is not enough to fit all the good stuff that comes with the game.But this separation has another purpose: it eases the setup of the game. The Hero box contains their miniatures, Hero Bat-Tablets, Screens, Cards...everything the Heroes need to play a scenario. The Villain box contains their miniatures, Tiles, dice, and everything needed to prepare the fight to come. These 2 boxes constitute the core game and are necessary to play the Wayne Manor, Arkham Asylum and Solo/Coop expansions.Includes:
