NETWORK LICENCE The Network Multiseat option should be used when software is being installed on computers that are connected to a network. It offers many extra features over the Standalone version: • Install the software on all network computers. You can use up to the number of seats on the licence at any one time. • Easily re-install the operating system and software on a computer without losing an authorised seat. • The licence keys are stored on the network, so if acomputer goes down, the seat authorisation is not lost • Check out seats from the licence for remote use. There are two parts to ordering a Multiseat purchase. First make an order for the appropriate ’Licence’ SKU. There is no cost for this item, but it will be used by AVID to register the customer’s details and authorise the Multiseat purchase. You will need to confirm the following details and include them with the order: • Name of Educational Institution • Music Department Contact Name • Music Department Contact Email • IT Department Contact Name • IT Department Contact Email Then, add a quantity of ‘Seat’ SKUs to the order depending on how many seats the customer would like to purchase. This will determine the total cost of the Multiseat order. Note: A minimum quantity of 5 seats is required for any Multiseat purchase. Upgrade version of the Perpetual licence. Update your old/discontinued software version to the latest release at a reduced cost. This is a one-time purchase that grants you access to the software licence forever. It also includes 12 months of AVID’s Support and Updates plan. This means that for a full year after activating your software, you’ll have access to support directly from AVID, and will be able to upgrade to the latest versions via download as soon as they are released. After the initial 12 months you can renew the Support and Updates plan.
